‘Hangoutchefs’ Google+ Women Love it!!!!

Integrate & Optimize Info, New Notable Online, Recipes, Social Media Info

I want to start off by saying ‘Thank you’ to +Shefali Burns+KIm Beasley and +Hermine Ngnomire who together comprise the cast of http://hangoutchefs.com/, for inviting me to the cyber couch for last night’s show.

I along with +Shweta Jacob and +Mike Stenger were asked about Social Media and Recruiting in relation to Job hunting.
We were thrilled to watch +Samantha Villenave cook up a beautiful Tarte Provençale in her lovely kitchen in the South of France. As +Mike Stenger said.. can’t wait till we have ‘smellovison’; the food looks so good!

"SocialMedia|Recruiting|hangoutchefs.com|Hangouts|Google+|Social Networking|womenOnline|"We were joined partway through our hangout by +gopi Kallayil who gave us a quick tour as he went down the indoor slide at the Google offices in Mountainview..

These 3 beautiful women and myself are all early adopters of the Google+ platform and I have to say I am more than an enthusiast – I am  in Love with Google+ and hangouts and all the incredible options I see as possible on this marvelous platform!!!

I am 55 years old and not the ‘norm’ as far as social media is concerned when it comes to Google+.  I am a Social Network Marketing Strategist  and therefore spend more time on line than many.  I have become a fan of the ‘Hangout’ even after a rocky start [read the Blog post  dated September 12th ,A Woman’s Thoughts on Google+] and am staggered by the possibilities for hangouts..

  • Educational (classes, meetings with teachers and profs)
  • Personal ( friends getting together, distant family members, long distance relationships)
  • Business (there are too many applications to list here, from meetings to auctions)
  • Medical ( long distance doctor visits etc)

Contrary to some public opinion and media which states the bulk of the users are techies, and super techies with a few Social Media folks thrown in: There are more and more women who are using G+: Let’s start with  The Women Who Made Google Plus: 22 Developers Behind the World’s Fastest Growing Social Network and move onto the website Women of GPlus which is  curated by +Lynette Young and is a great source which lists of many of the incredible women of G+, and has developed into a great site full of sharing opportunities and information. The Women of Google+ have a Hangout coming up Oct 16th.
