I am appalled and heart-sick at the cruelty,  and the cold and callous disregard for human life of these terrorists. These extreme factions seem to consider humans, not of their fanatic views, as less valuable than lint.

Voltaire said “I do not agree with what you have to say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it.”

I hold this to be true, even when I do not find any value or humour in what is said or printed, I understand and hold dear another’s right to their opinion.

This is my dad’s Birthday January 7th. And now, it will forever be the sad memory of this tragic and senseless event.

My condolences to all in Paris, the friends, the family of those with #CharlieHebdo.
