It might look like a CGI set from Game of Thrones, but this is actually Dunnottar Castle.

A ruined medieval fortress on a well-defended headland near Stonehaven in Aberdeenshire.

Its Scottish Gaelic  name is Dùn Fhoithear, or ‘fort on the shelving slope‘
